Terms of Sale:
  • We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone for any reason at any time without explanation.
  • We will not sell a single goat unless it will be housed with at least one other goat.
  • Please do not show up unannounced as visits are by appointment only.
  • We will not always have goats available but will do our best to keep the website updated with those that are for sale. You are more than welcome to let us know what you are interested in and we can contact you when that comes available.
  • Kids will not be registered unless discussed prior to sale. Any transfer or new registration costs are to be paid by the buyer. Kids that are registerable are noted on the kidding and sale page. We will provide the paperwork required for ADGA registration if purchased as registered.
  • All goats sold are wormed, given Cocci prevention starting at 3 weeks old, given CD&T at 4 & 8 weeks old, disbudded unless naturally polled, and tattooed. Exception is if you pick up goat(s) prior to our scheduled vaccination and medical program at which time the buyer is responsible for these medications and procedures.
  • We will not sell any kids until they are weaned (approximately 8-10 weeks old). Kids will only be bottle fed out of necessity.  If you have a strong desire to bottle feed, we can make prior arrangements.  However, we reserve the right to accept or deny this request for any reason.
  • Bucklings not sold by 10 weeks old will be wethered. Banding will be done at approximately 10 weeks of age. If you plan to purchase a buck you will need to make arrangement prior to 10 weeks of age.
  • We will not ship any goats. Goats must be picked up or other arrangements made at time of purchase.
  • If you wish to have any special tests completed prior to purchase, you may do so at your own expense.
  • We are more than happy to answer any questions that you have before, during, or after your purchase. Please ask whatever questions you have!

 Reservations:
  • All payments are nonrefundable unless we terminate the sale. These payments are used to cover the cost of housing and feeding a goat while it is being held.
  • We will not take reservations on unborn kids but will keep a list of those that are interested and contact them when kids arrive.  In order to reserve a goat, a 50% deposit must be paid and is nonrefundable if the buyer backs out of the sale.  This allows us to provide goats to those that are interested and present to take a goat home during their visit.
  • Goats are sold on a first come, first serve basis. Goats will not be held without deposit. If we are contacted at the same time by more than one potential buyer, the first payment received will be honored.
  • Buyers will be notified when goats are ready for pick up.  Buyers will have a two-week window to pick up their goat.  If the goat is not picked up within this time frame, the buyer forfeits their right to the goat and any money that had been paid.  If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us so that we can make alternate arrangements.  We understand that there are times when this policy needs to be adjusted.
  • Seller will attempt to contact buyers but if the buyer is unresponsive to attempted contacts for a period of one week after pickup was due, fails to pick up the reserved goat(s), and/or otherwise fails to meet the criteria agreed upon for the sale, the sale is terminated and payments will not be refunded, and goat(s) may be listed for sale again.

Payment:
  • All payments are nonrefundable unless we terminate the sale.
  • We will accept PayPal, cash, or check. If the buyer mails a payment, he/she must send a check.  We are not responsible for cash sent through the mail. Payments must clear prior to the final sale. If final payment is to be made at pick up, the buyer must pay in cash/PayPal.
  • Payments made via PayPal need to be via friends and family. If you pay via goods and services PayPal adds fees to the transaction so an additional $5.00 charge is required to cover those fees.
  • Payments will be refunded in full if the sale is cancelled by the seller. Otherwise payments are not refundable.
  • All additional expenses, including registration fees, transfer fees, health certificates, additional requested disease testing, etc. are not included in the price of the animal(s) and will be the buyers responsibility. Only the animal(s) itself is included in the sale price.
  • The buyer can cancel a sale at any time. However, payment is not refundable. Any payments made may be applied toward a future purchase at the agreement of both the seller and the buyer.
  • Payments toward an animal are nonrefundable. These payments cover the cost of housing and feeding a goat while being held.

Pick Up:
  • No animal will leave our possession until bill of sale is completed, payment is received in full, and any registration or transfer papers are signed.
  • Seller makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, other than those explicitly listed in the terms of sale. We make every attempt to ensure the health of the animal(s) when sold and up to date on hoof trimming, deworming if needed, and mineral supplements. However, we cannot guarantee the health of any animal after it leaves our possession.  The sale and transporting of animals can cause them to be stressed. exposed to illness, or injured after leaving our farm. The seller is not responsible for the health or wellbeing of the animal(s) after it has entered the buyers hands.
  • In case of illness or injury to the goat prior to pick up, the sale will be postponed or cancelled at our discretion. The buyer can also choose to cancel the sale under these circumstances and will receive a refund, or can transfer any payments to another purchase at the agreement of both the buyer and seller.
  • If a veterinarian determines that the goat is incapable of reproducing due to a genetic defect present at birth, the buyer is eligible to receive a replacement goat of equal value. The buyer must submit a signed copy of the veterinary report. Since infertility is most often caused by environmental factors such as mineral deficiency or obesity, only a goat with a proven genetic default will be eligible for replacement. (For the record, defects like hermaphroditism are rare. Usually infertility is due to things like obesity, mineral deficiency, hormonal imbalance, etc.).

All sales are bound by these terms. Failure of a buyer to thoroughly read or understand these terms is not grounds for exemption from the terms. These terms and other sale procedures are publicly listed and freely available on the seller’s website, at the time of sale, and by request.
Bill of Sale:
  • The seller makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied, on the animal(s) sold other than those explicitly listed in the terms of sale. The seller is not responsible for the health or well being of the animal(s) after it has entered the buyer’s possession. The animal(s) is healthy at the time of sale, but the seller cannot guarantee the health of the animal after it has left the seller’s possession.
  • All sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted and no refunds will be issued.
  • If a licensed veterinarian determines that the goat(s) is incapable of reproducing due to a physical defect present at birth, the buyer is eligible to receive a replacement goat of equal value or credit toward future animal if one is not currently available. The buyer must submit a signed copy of the veterinary report.
  • The bill of sale will include both the buyer and sellers contact information, the name(s) of the goat(s) sold, payments received, and balance to be paid in full at the time of the final sale. It will also include any other terms agreed upon in advance by both parties.
